rafting forum “White water of Siberia – 2016” finished

Dear friends!

It’s been a month since we, the participants of the amazing rafting forum “White water of Siberia – 2016”, finished the program and said our goodbyes in the silence of the night at the “Heart of Altai” camp! We’ll meet again, my friends, different time and place, at other events, which all unite us into a big loving family of rafting fans and admirers.

I’ve hung the forum flag with your signatures in my cabinet, just as promised, and whenever I look at it, I remember those wonderful days, we spent in Russia together. I am absolutely happy that we managed to do it, even though not everything went smooth and as planned or desired (“maximum Kultur, minimum rafting!”))), but all in all everything went pretty fine, I believe.

What we did manage – we met there, people of different countries, cultures, languages, professionals, amateurs and freshmen, and we proved ourselves and the rest of the world, that white water unites people. We have become one big team and made one of the most multinational floating down the Middle Katun, overcome the rapids of the Katun River, the queen of Siberian rivers. I am so happy I could introduce you to the heart of Russia, show you the Russian life and culture (maximum Kultur, minimum free time), show you the Russian educational system, Siberian countryside and its beautiful and one of the most science-oriented Russian cities – Tomsk.

Many years later the people of my village – Kopylovo will remember you with warm smiles, and the great banner with the flags of your countries will stay on my school, reminding us of the great event once held at its doors, and wonderful people who came here.

The people of my village send their best wishes and thanks to all the forum’s participants for they have learned a lot about your cultures from you, and they experienced how big and friendly the world is.

I want to thank our sponsors and organizers – the state organization ROSSOTRUDNICHESTVO, for the opportunity given to the world of white water to organize and hold this cultural and sport event, and to invite people of 17 countries to Russia. My best regards to the leaders and employees of this organization for their work and program “New generation”.

What I really want to tell you is that the RAFTING FORUM must go on!) And I would like to introduce you to the program of the next forum in Russia! (minimum Kultur, maximum rafting)

The program is called “Conquer three golden Altai rivers with the world’s best guides!”

It will take place in the Altai Republic, August 2017, and includes preparation and going down the Chuya river canyon “Mazhoy Cascade”, followed by rafting down Bashkaus and Chulushman rivers (rapids of the 4, 5 level) and concludes with the participating in the whole program of the Russian National Championship (Russian Rafting Cup “Ak-Talay-Margaan-2017).

So I invite all of you, your friends and families to this event!
